Only selected petrol pumps will be functioning during the lockdown : Says Kamrup(M) District Administration. Here is the list !

In viewing the situation of rising corona virus cases in Kamrup Metro district, The Health Minister of Assam imposed full LOCKDOWN in Guwahati from Midnight of 28th April. The lockdown will continue for Two weeks , which means it will continue till 12th of July.



In June 26th Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma held a press conference and said briefly about this lockdown. He said that Govt. has strickly ordered the district administration to strickly imposed this lockdown. He said in the first week of lockdown there will be no realaxations for the common people. Only people related to essential duties are allowewd to do their work. He also stated that in this lockdown grocery shops will also be not allowed to open. He requested everyone to collect the necessary grocery items for the next 7 days.

To make this lockdown more strict as ordered by Govt. The Kamrup(M) District Administration said that only the selected petrol pumps will functioning in this lockdown. Today in tweeter Kamrup(M) District Administration tweeted that, " IN THE VIEW OF TOTAL LOCKDOWN IN ALL THE AREAS OF KAMRUP METROPOLITAN DISTRICT THE FOLLOWING PETROL PUMPS ARE IDENTIFIED BY DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION FOR THEIR FUNCTIONING DURING LOCKDOWN PERIOD . "
